Fundraiser offers opportunity to get as well as give
For true diehard Red Sox fans like myself, seeing a game from optimum seats is often just a dream. Getting to a game can be as challenging as the Sox winning the game sometimes. Tickets are hard to come by and the expense can be more than some wallets can afford.
Fundraising events that include a silent auction can put you in awesome seats and help a great cause at the same time. Somehow it’s a lot easier to swipe that credit card or write that check for tickets bought at a fundraiser. And often, the seats you can get at a fundraiser are unattainable any other way!
The 16th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Norwell VNA (NVNA) and Hospice is scheduled for next Monday, July 21 at Indian Pond Estates in Kingston. While the golf field is filled, there are seats available for the fabulous dinner, before which one can bid for a number of outstanding silent auction items. These include tickets to several Red Sox games, some including parking vouchers to boot!
There are also many wonderful overnight opportunities in Boston, Cambridge, Northampton and Scituate. And if you love dining at great restaurants, you have your pick to choose from as well in the NVNA and Hospice’s silent auction. The live auction takes you beyond the city limits to some pretty exclusive out of state locales. In fact, two of the trips are to the Masters!
The golf and dinner event benefit the non-profit home care and hospice agency that provides over 45 free community education, support, and health screening programs throughout the South Shore each month. Additionally, this fundraiser helps offset the cost of free and underfunded care that NVNA and Hospice provides through their clinical care programs.
Dinner and Auction tickets for the evening portion of the event, which includes the silent auction during the cocktail hour, are $75 each. There are also 50/50 raffle tickets for sale; so many ways to support a great organization! To learn more or purchase tickets, please click here.
